Clearing cache for different browsers

Cache can be cleared on most devices with internet connectivity. A lot of devices use different types of browsers, so knowing how to clear your cache in different ways can be very useful. Android phones, for example, usually have Chrome as the default browser. iPhones, on the other hand, use Safari. Computers can have many different browser options including Firefox or Internet Explorer. There are more options than this, but we will look at the main four browsers used and explore how cache can be refreshed for each of these. For the purposes of this blog we will be using a Windows machine but a similar process can be carried out on mobile devices, Mac and Linux.

All of these approaches were applied to Windows versions of these browsers. Similar steps can often be followed on other devices such as mobiles, Macs and Linux machines. Often in the case of mobile devices the steps are a lot simpler and differ depending on the manufacturer of the device.
