There are various options for hosting your website. The key element is who your domain registrar is, that is, who 'owns' the domain name. This could be any number of popular hosting companies. Once you have this information you will be able to move the hosting elsewhere, be it internal or external.
External hosting: If you are hosting your website externally with alternative hosting, XIST2 will pack up your website and transfer it securely. You will then need to set up the website and database with your preferred host. XIST2 can assist you with this process if given sufficient information, including login information for your preferred host and domain registrar.
Internal hosting: Alternatively, you can host with XIST2. In this case we will only need to alter your website a-record. This can be done at your end, or we can carry out this configuration by being provided with the details of your current domain host or registrar. Once complete, we will carry out the set up of your new website.
