Creating URLs in posts
When adding in a link to your post, you need to first establish what type of link it is. This will then decide how it should work when a user clicks it.
External links: These are links that lead the user to another webpage that is not your own, such as Google or any other external location. In order to keep your users from deviating away from your website, these links often open up in a new tab on the browser.
Internal links: These are links that lead the user to another webpage that is a part of your website, such as the contact page or perhaps another area with further information. In this case, your users will continue using your website and allowing them to deviate to another page is not an issue.
View the attached manual for details on creating internal and external hyperlinks.
